Verification report
The written opinion issued by an EU-accredited verifier after reviewing an installation's emissions data. Positive, qualified or negative.
A verification report is the output of the verification process. Only a positive opinion allows actual values to be used in a CBAM declaration. Qualified opinions require the operator to address specific issues before the data is accepted. The first verification report requires a site visit; subsequent years can be remote.
