Authorised CBAM declarant
The EU importer, or its indirect customs representative, that files the CBAM declaration.
Under CBAM, only an authorised CBAM declarant can file the annual declaration. The declarant is the EU importer of the goods, or its indirect customs representative acting on their behalf. Being authorised requires registration in the CBAM Registry.
